What Are Polarised Shade Lenses?
Polarised Shade lenses are created with a special filter that blocks intense reflected light to reduce glare. In any environment, glare is created when the sun hits surfaces such as snow, water, and asphalt on the road. Smooth reflective surfaces on cars and windows can also create glare, reducing the wearer’s visibility and causing discomfort.
Shade lenses’ polarising lens technology removes glare, blocking out the horizontal light that bounces off smooth reflective surfaces. Because of these properties, they are ideal for bright environments or where there are reflective surfaces.
TOG’s Shade lenses for glasses are tailored to block out light without diminishing any visibility. With active light-filtering properties, our polarised Shade lenses provide a sharper, more vibrant vision while protecting the eyes from strain.
Shade Basic plano tinted lenses are available in a range of uniform tints and gradient tints from one to three colours and can be customized to suit client sunglass samples.
Our Shade Polarview range is available in gray, green and brown colours and filter out horizontal light reflected from the ground , road snow or sand to reduce glare while allowing vertical light to pass through. Available in a wide range of materials.
A New Standard In Polarised Lenses
Shade polarised lenses are built for single vision glasses in bright or low-light situations. Designed to enhance visual clarity while reducing glare, these lenses are suited for various outdoor and sporting uses, such as water sports, driving, golfing, or fishing.
Shade Polarview glasses can filter out horizontal surface light while still allowing vertical light to pass through, setting the standard in polarised glasses.
